Aditya Birla Minerals Limited, Hindalco's wholly owned Australian subsidiary, is the owner of the Mount Gordon Copper Mine in north west Queensland.
Mt. Gordon's present capacity is 60,000 TPA copper in concentrate.
Together with the Nifty Copper Mine in Western Australia, it will provide more than one-fifth of Birla Copper's copper concentrate requirements in India.
