Aberdare Colleries Pty Ltd is the owner of the Kogan Open Cut Coal Mine near Chinchilla in the Surat Basin and is a subsidary of CS Energy Ltd. Production of 2.8 mtpa is delivierd to the Kogan Powerstation via conveyor and waste ash produced is received for disposal via pipeline.
