Queensland Mining Industry Health and Safety Conference
The QMIHSC is an initiative to promote health and safety in the Queensland mining industry.

The annual QMIHSC is hosted jointly by the Queensland Government, the QRC, and the mining unions (MEU and AWU).
The four-day conference continues to be one of the largest health and safety conferences in the southern hemisphere.
It is designed to provide Queensland resources companies with valuable information on critical issues that may impact on the sector.
The gathering also celebrates and promotes the ingenuity of home-grown safety through the Safety Innovation Health Awards.
The conference has its own website that contains conference papers dating back to 1993 as well as the latest information on the current year’s conference and awards.
