2017 QRC Indigenous Awards

More than 300 guests attended this year’s award ceremony for presentation of the QRC Indigenous Awards 2017.  We had a fantastic line-up of talent and speakers as demonstrated through our award finalists and winners, our keynote speaker Indigenous Barrister Joshua Creamer, guest speaker Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships the Hon Mark Furner MP, past winner Thomas Draper from Arrow Energy and performances from local Indigenous artists including Maroochy Barambah and the Wakka Wakka Dance Group.  An enjoyable night was had by all and we thank all of our event sponsors for their support, in particular our platinum sponsor for the fourth consecutive year, Rio Tinto.
