Rio Tinto is a global supplier of bauxite, alumina and primary aluminium, with an average annual production of 33 million tonnes of bauxite, nine million tonnes of alumina and four million tonnes of aluminium.
Its high quality bauxite mines and alumina refineries, state of the art technologies, clean and renewable energy assets and low cost aluminium smelters make Rio Tinto a global leader in the aluminium industry.
