Community and People
The QRC and its members work towards building happy, healthy and sustainable communities
People are at the very heart of the resources sector in Queensland. Without the support of its employees, their families, neighbours and local communities, the Queensland resources sector would not be the wealth creator it is today.
The QRC works with its regional partners, members, the Queensland government and other stakeholders to ensure the regulatory framework promotes positive outcomes for people and communities.
The scope of work includes but is not limited to:
- employee attraction and retention
- education and training
- community engagement
- social impact
- labour mobility and long distance work practices
- workforce diversity
