Policy Director, Economics, Infrastructure and Energy
We are hiring! QRC is looking for a Policy Director, Economics, Infrastructure and Energy to join the team.
Reporting to the CEO, the position plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and advocacy for the region by analysing the economic trends, infrastructure developments, and energy policies that impact and present opportunities for the resources sector. Through the analysis and translation of economic and market data, the role supports industry advocacy and greater stakeholder understanding. The role also studies emerging trends and synergies across the energy market, both local and international.
To be considered, applicants must have demonstrable achievements and experiences relevant to the role, including economic modelling and market analysis. A strong understanding of the processes within government is essential, together with past achievements shaping and leveraging key business or industry initiatives. Experiences advising government, associations, and/or organisations across infrastructure, energy, or resource initiatives will be viewed favourably. Finally, applicants with tertiary qualifications in Economics (or a related discipline) will be highly regarded.
