Lucy Snelling is an experienced leader with a strong legal and commercial background, strategic management skills and specialist expertise in resources and energy and transport infrastructure projects.
She has been a Partner of Carter Newell Lawyers, an executive in the Queensland Government Department of Transport, and while working part time raising her family, commercial manager at AGL Energy Ltd Upstream Gas. She was Chief Executive Officer of the newly established State Gas Ltd, prior to stepping back in 2020 for industry heavyweight Richard Cottee as Executive Chairman.
She has held a number of Board and governance roles, including Director and Member of the Audit and Risk Committee for the Cross River Rail Development Authority, Director and Chair Project Steering Committee for ZeroGen Pty Ltd, Member, Gladstone Economic and Industry Development Board, and Chair, Deputy Chair and foundation Secretary of the Infrastructure Association of Queensland, Inc.
Lucy represents State Gas at QRC and APPEA, and sits on the QEC Management Committee
