The QRC 2024 Streamlining Report calls for a fair, balanced and streamlined approach to approvals and builds on efforts to remove regulatory barriers impacting Queensland’s resources industry. It reviews the current approvals framework, identifies key challenges, and outlines five drivers for change with targeted actions to address obstacles faced in developing new projects and existing operations.

Streamlining approvals and regulation can ensure the resources sector continues to provide Queensland and the world with the critical minerals, metals, gas and coal that it needs, now and into the future for the continuing benefit of all Queenslanders.
