The Queensland resources industry is actively cultivating a safe and inclusive workplace culture, committing to preventative measures in addressing inappropriate behaviours like sexual harassment, bullying and racism. Collaboration among industry, governments and unions across Australia aims to foster safe and healthy workplaces.
The QRC, the Commissioner for Resources Safety and Health, and representatives from the resources sector conducted a full-day Workplace Culture Risks workshop to assess how the industry handles inappropriate behaviours. This webpage, developed as a result, serves as a resource hub offering guidance on addressing workplace misconduct, with an initial focus on sexual harassment.
