QRC and WIMARQ Resources Awards for Women
On International Women’s Day each year, the QRC and Women in Mining and Resources Queensland (WIMARQ) come together to host an IWD event and the Resources Awards for Women.
About this event
We hold this event to focus attention on the importance of providing a diverse and inclusive workplace, where everybody feels welcome. Encouraging and motivating companies to reach 30% female participation across our industry’s workforce by 2026 is also a key goal of the QRC’s diversity and inclusion strategy.
Applications and nominations for the 2026 awards are open and must be completed by 3 Dec 2025.
