Resource Sector Safety and Health Performance
The QRC and its members are committed to preventing workplace fatalities and harm. Data collection, reporting and analytics have an important role in providing insights into safety and health performance at a company and industry level. It allows the industry to make informed decisions and react swiftly to control risks and minimise harm.
Through sector wide data reporting, emerging trends, both positive and negative which may not be apparent at a company level, become visible when aggregated to an industry level.
Resources Safety and Health Queensland, the resource sector’s safety and health regulator, periodically collects and reports on safety and health performance across the industry. Safe Work Australia collects workers’ compensation claims data, fatalities and other data across all state and safety and health performance data across all state and territory jurisdictions.
