2026 Resources Awards for Women
The 2026 QRC and WIMARQ Resources Awards for Women brought together Queensland’s resources sector to celebrate International Women’s Day and recognise the achievements and contributions of exceptional women across the industry.
Held on 6 March 2026, the event featured a panel discussion with senior industry leaders, followed by the annual awards presentation and lunch. Hosted by journalist and TV presenter Victoria Carthew, the event also featured keynote speaker Claire Parkinson, former mining executive, prison governor and bestselling author, who shared insights on resilience, reinvention and modern leadership.
The event celebrated outstanding achievement across the sector while highlighting the importance of diverse and inclusive workplaces where everyone can contribute and thrive.
