Argo Natural Resources is a Queensland-based coal mining business producing high-quality steelmaking coal from its Carborough Downs, Ironbark No. 1, and Broadlea operations. Argo will see further growth through the acquisition of Bowen Coking Coal, resulting in a significant tenement portfolio spanning around 50km of contiguous strike length in the heart of the Bowen Basin. This will also include the Burton coal mine, which will further add to Argo’s operating assets. Argo mines coal from the Rangal Coal Measures, producing high quality coal products that support global growth and enterprise.
