Middlemount South Pty Ltd (MMS), a fully owned subsidiary of QMetco, owns a 70% stake in the Foxleigh Joint Venture. MSS operates the Foxleigh coal mine on behalf of its Joint Venture partners, POSCO and Nippon Steel. Located in Queensland’s Bowen Basin, Foxleigh produces benchmark high quality pulverized coal injection (PCI) coal used primarily in the production of steel.
